Persons or organisations intending to conduct exit polls should refer to the “Guidelines on Election-related Activities in respect of the District Council Election” and the relevant supplementary information (if any) issued by the Electoral Affairs Commission and also read carefully the following application guidelines before submitting their applications to the Registration and Electoral Office (“REO”).
Application Guidelines for Conduct of Exit Poll in the 2019 District Council Ordinary Election
Applying persons or organisations must complete and sign the prescribed Application Form for Conduct of Exit Poll and make a statutory declaration by virtue of the Oaths and Declaration Ordinance (Cap. 11) as required in Part I of the application form. REO will accept applications for conducting exit poll in the 2019 District Council Ordinary Election starting from 12 November 2019.
The original of the completed application form with statutory declaration made should be submitted in person or by post to the REO on or before 6:00 p.m. on 15 November 2019. All late applications will not be processed.
