Exit Poll
Persons or organisations intending to conduct exit polls on the polling day of the 2023 District Council Ordinary Election should refer to the “Guidelines on Election-related Activities in respect of the District Council Election” and the relevant supplementary information (if any) issued by the Electoral Affairs Commission and also read carefully the following application guidelines before submitting their applications to the Registration and Electoral Office (“REO”).
Applicants / Applicant organisations must complete and sign the prescribed Application Form for Conduct of Exit Poll and make a statutory declaration by virtue of the Oaths and Declaration Ordinance (Cap. 11) as required in Part I of the application form. REO will accept applications for conducting exit poll in the 2023 District Council Ordinary Election starting from 16 November 2023.
The original of the completed Application Form for Conduct of Exit Poll with statutory declaration made shall be submitted in person or by post to the REO not later than 10 days before the polling day (i.e. on or before 6:00 p.m. on 30 November 2023). Late applications will NOT be processed.

Remark: An elector has the right to keep his/her vote secret. Participation in exit poll is entirely voluntary.
